Join us for a dinner cruise on the Portland Spirit

The Portland Spirit is an Oregon institution that we have yet to experience. We’ve been waiting for a good reason — and this it it!
Depart the Canopy hotel at 6pm to arrive at the boat at 6:30.

Join us for a jaunt through Washington Park (and beyond)

Meet at: Canopy Hotel lobby
Cost: TriMet fare
We’ll take the MAX light rail to Washington Park and hike through Hoyt Arboretum down to the International Rose Garden. From there, we catch the Washington Park shuttle (free) back to the MAX. But first we can check out the Portland Japanese Garden or take the shuttle to the Oregon Zoo.

Join us for a Pedalpalooza bike ride
Friday, August 8

Meet at: Jamison Square Park at 5PM (ride at 5:30)
Cost: bike rental (if needed)
Pedalpalooza is Portland at its best: a free, summer-long festival celebrating bikes with community-organized rides. We are hosting the “Jason + Kerry + FSM = ♥” ride for you! We’ll go at a leisurely pace and end at the Midtown Beer Garden for food and spirits (the next event!).
No bike? No problem. You have options!
Biketown bike share are all electric and there’s a station at the start! Biketown bikes have lights, but no helmets. Best to download the Biketown app on your phone before the ride.
Rent a bike at nearby Cycle Portland or another bike shop. A bike rental typically comes with lights, a lock, and a helmet. Cycle Portland also guides bike tours if you’d like to explore more.

The Pedalpalooza ride (above) will end at the Midtown Beer Garden. If the ride doesn’t work for you, skip it and meet us for dinner!
The beer garden is casual with lots of food carts for a wide variety of culinary delights.
